FEB 28 A) 'Thars gold in them thar hills... ' To be sure the West is in no hurry to end the Ukraine War as interests - both legitimate and criminal - seek to exploit Russian weakness abroad as well as within. Putin has become a bot which others - most likely the criminal element abroad - will shortly contain...just pull his personal internet communications. Lots of hackers available for that purpose. What Putin needed but did not get, was a 'knock-out blow' against the Ukraine. Now he is screwed, blued and tattooed (as we use to say 'when I was a boy').... B) While there is no good war, Ukraine is a popular war with the world lining up against one megalomaniac. Even Franco Alulio with his Identity Theft, the crime of the 21st century, would have a tough time matching Putin... Now there's one for Putin... withdraw the driver's licenses of all Ukrainians for psychiatric reasons (similar to Franco Alulio) bringing the nation to its knees.... Maybe we all got it wrong and all that Putin wants is to be declared 'Time Magazine's Person of the Year'....
FEB 27 A) 'Mandated' Protesters back on Parl. Hill with agreement of the police. Nobody seems to get it. FAA does NOT rely on mandates; merely rogue civil servants to pervert institutional forms to gain illicit control of society! B) I am not an anti-vaxxer but my advice has been consistent throughout; namely, get the vaccine according to your circumstances; just the same as decades ago when cholera vaccination was a pre-requirement for travelling in SE Asia. Few people can self isolate such as myself although they can take additional supplements. Masks & shields and plastic gloves seem to protect many workers along with other applicable measures e.g. hair salons apart from vaccinations which are required in some work settings. Further, the genome of each person is different as some are more vulnerable to illness than others. Mandates do work e.g. Canada has half the deaths per capita of the U.S. where Covid restrictions are less enforced. Also, the numbers of Covid cases show an increase, not a decrease at this time when restrictions are being lifted world-wide. Some countries e.g. S. Korea, Hong Kong have suffered relapses of major proportions. No mention is made of the effect of Covid on Russian nor Ukraine troops but Moscow has a major problem due to city congestion. The big take on this plague? ...the inconsistency of the data, particularly from the medical profession which has failed to ask the right questions; a short-coming to all 'non-Covid' institutions by the 'old boys club' e.g. Justice Canada, in Canada leading to the 'Canadian Disease' as some institutions and individuals benefit financially from the plague. Hence the renewed Protest noted above is reflection of a society sadly confused as to the ramifications of the 'individual' in our democratic society hence explaining why FAA, a non-mandated but nonetheless the crime of the 21st century, is going un-noticed. Albert Camus in The Plague (1939) in a North African country notices this omission in that his novel opens with no-one recognizing the first victim of the plague; namely, a dead rat, in a novel some would compare to the outbreak of WWII. I have roamed the world institutions plus Germany's Angela Merkel unsuccessfully searching for someone in authority to speak out on FAA, which now sits in the hands of a U.S. President; past, current, and if need be, future; 'Here I stand, I can no other' (Martin Luther 1519). Now you know why empires never last; the ancient Romans can vouch for that one with the world still in the industrial age with little hope to date from the digital age which lacks over-all 'courage' merely being an 'expedient'. The Ukraine War may be a turning point politically although space limits expansion on that point.
FEB 26 A) The Russian military were told to expect a welcoming liberated Ukraine. At least 450 of them lining coffins know otherwise. B) Is a certain cellar room in Yekaterinburg where the Czar and his family were executed in 2017 beginning to look good to Putin's adversaries? C) J.T.'s mandate approach is being used against nurses in Que. where the Premier insists on mandated overtime. A strike by nurses is U.N. bound (I hope they are luckier than I have been with a FAA U.N. appeal which functions outside any 'mandate' explaining why it is the crime of the 21st century. COMMENTARY:
It's
pressure on Russia's situation. Seems like little but it all adds ups:
Ukrainian heroic resistance, Russian losses, bogged down advances, war crimes,
news of low Russian army morale, soldiers forced to fight, constantly
escalating barrage of sanctions, Swift on the table, western public pressuring
for complete 'enegretic' independence, weapons and
aid shipments, Russian protests, dissent from Russian elite, dissent from some
stronger Russian "allies", constantly increasing NATO troops with
state of the art equipment (Leopard 2, Challenger 2, F-35s, Eurofighters,
Apaches, Black Hawks, AA, artillery, ifvs, elite
troops) while the Russian army takes a bloody nose against regular, irregular
and even civilian volunteers (teen boys and girls, old men), Sweden and Finland
flirting with NATO membership, etc.
It all adds up to a vey
bad image and future for Russia and Putin.
D) The news has hit on a second 'conservatorship' actress
story (with court access) providing a sharp contrast to FAA where no court response possible due to Identity Theft, the silent cultural killer worse than its Covid counterpart. No-one has the necessary imagination to
perceive that heinous story. E) Xi of
China probably reconsidering a 'Ukraine-type' attack on Taiwan where U.S.
forces are present.
FEB 25 A)'The jealous and intolerant eye of the
Kremlin can distinguish, in the end, only vassals and enemies, and the
neighbors of Russia, if they do not wish to be one, must reconcile themselves
to being the other.
No matter how big
and powerful, Russia always feels threatened. Even when they are feeling weak,
they bluster and bully to hide their vulnerability. In this sense, Putin's
policies and beliefs are largely consistent with Russian history and the legacy
of the Russian Tsars George Kennan SEE parallels under my heading Himmler (Nazi) bio. Sub-heading FEB 2022
(disclosure: When my wife & I were married in 1974, we visited Moscow/Leningrad with a teacher's group. We also revisited Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) from a cruise ship after the turn of the millennium thus enriching my reading on the country.)
B) No doubt analogies will arise over Putin's attack on Ukraine likening it to 'herding cats' in terms of ramifications e.g. Chernobyl radiation. Nuclear power protects him from physical attack from established nations abroad but his troubles will come from within...with a big helping hand from without by the World's great powers (other than China) through financial sanctions. For example, NY City where the Russian Mafia predominates is in the midst of a crime wave which the earlier displaced Italian mafia, entrenched in New Jersey, would like back. Frozen Russian funds should do the trick here. London, Eng. is full of Moscow crime figures... now all they have to do is 'accidentally' smear some Novichok on Putin's livery to hasten his bare-chested horse ride to Valhalla. Have I ever been wrong? Now is not the time to ask other than to note that it costs money to maintain a war which Putin is in short supply due to these sanctions (although some western powers reneging in order to protect their own financial assets). C) In 1854, The Br. Light Cavalry was assigned a suitable mission in the Crimea only to have it over-turned by a Franco Alulio type Cavalry Captain who construed the over-all Orders as a right to lead the Cavalry into 'the valley of death' with horseflesh and riders left all over the place. It was a debacle. In a sense, this story is a harbinger today of WWIV in which rogue civil servants such as Alulio will run the world with their psychiatric backpacks with their accompanying Identity Theft lobotomies to rob the legitimate authorities of their power in developed countries; none up to bat so far except Canada. As for dictatorships such as Russia, anything goes anyway hence assassinations are the order of the day. I am taking bets on Putin's assassination. D) No doubt a Putin concern is the use of mercenaries on the side of Ukraine. For example, he may be in the ignominious position of financing the French (misnomer as all nationalities represented) Foreign Legion in the Ukraine against him. To be sure CIA assets will be one of those 'cats' Putin has to herd. Commentary are vitriolic over invasion. E) JT 'cruisin for a bruisin' with his 'push me-pull me' stance on the 'Emergency Act as he makes a horse's ass of Parliament and the courts. What do you expect after the public silence on FAA producing the 'Canadian Disease'? F) Black lives Matter group not to be seen on resignations of Ottawa Police Chief Sloly and Deputy Chief Jaswal (ahead of his disciplinary hearing on sexual advancement charges)... white guys now rule as I await new Chief's response (Steve Bell) to my earlier letter to him regarding my rights to my entire medical file (to combat FAA). No change so far.... 'equal opportunity chiefs?'....
FEB 24 A) Banana Republic Justice: After effective use e.g. removing Convoy Trucks; then cancel the 'Emergency Powers' so nobody can sue. (If need be, Senate was going to do the 'dirty deed'.) The point is that there were plenty of laws on the books for Premier Doug Ford to act... and he didn't amid no Opposition challenges. The B.C. authorities did that as well in 1985 (Education Bill 35) and later cancelled it before my illicit senior teacher layoff for economic reasons was resolved. No compensation (including pension rights) was ever paid. Hence Cdn. 'Law & Order' is a myth and a dangerous one at that. The streets are the only recourse for individuals. B) SEE sub-heading FEB 2022: (Nazi) Himmler Biography 'Nothing is more evil than those who do evil in the name of good'. C) Liar, liar, your pants are on fire Russia invades entire Ukraine = WWIII. Putin hopes to provoke China into invading Taiwan (WWII parallel with Nazi Germany & Japan) for without it, his goose is cooked... and even then.... Will it primarily be a cyber war? D) 'Lock 'im up' for Trump in his public support for Putin. The enemy of my enemy is no friend in Trump.
FEB 23 A)
Czechoslovakia 1939 in which Hitler took 'Sudeten Land'. Putin no doubt
hoping for a repeat of Chamberlain: 'Hitler (Putin) was a gentleman, he helped me
on with my coat.' Scenario 2: The assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand in
1914 was not supposed to presage WWI...but it did. The heart of the average
hungry Russian is not in this battle. They saw how the Chechens tore them up
years earlier. As always, the problem lies in managing the peace. The U.S. did
it by leaving Viet Nam & Afghan. worrying some of their allies. Higher oil
& gas prices in the interim. All accounts point to Putin biting off more
than he can chew in this Mr. Putin's War.
Trump must be in real trouble with
Putin (2012 Russian incident) to side with him over Ukraine invasion. Are there
no younger candidates for the Republican leadership? B) Parliament was wrong to sanction the 'Emergency Act' but the
Opposition feared a forced election for different reasons: Tories-no leader;
NDP-broke; BLOC Que.-only going to re-confirm their seats. PCC-would gain
massively (but currently have no seats). Health Measures administration are
basically Provincial hence the 'Vaccine Mandate' undermined the provinces but
Ontario was MIA on the issue (just like FAA).
But the public would re-elect the Liberals due to their tough stance in absence
of the provinces. C) Ottawa Citizen criticized
for one-sided Convoy reporting. Probably explains why so many reporters spat
on. But who buys a newspaper any longer with the internet available? The
Citizen has no columnists which can be found in other publications; the one
thing that should keep a newspaper afloat. D)
Ottawa's Rideau Centre (near Parl. Hill) keeps getting closed by people
carrying guns... what's new here as street people in this area are already
armed? (Similar to U.S. ghetto schools where the guns are already in the
schools.) Is it just police 'protecting their own rear ends' at the expense of
the merchants?
FEB 22 A) Once again, the phishing EPOCH TIMES (Chinese anti-China newspaper) floods my daily e-mails without my permission. Bids to stop them are redundant. (I made the mistake many years ago of subscribing to them so I am part of their old files.) B) 'Austria 1936' all over again in which the Nazis invaded under the pretext of protecting them. This time it is the 'breakaway (as defined by Putin) provinces' in the eastern Ukraine (prefer Russian economic connection) calling for his assistance where Putin hopes to limit his war. What if the U.S. had decided to 'protect' Cda. in the War Measures Act of 1970? Much the same thing. It all equals WWIII after a NATO recruitment campaign for those whom feel vulnerable to Russian 'protection' e.g. Finland. Watch the Russian mobsters abroad shake in their boots for repercussions while they hunt for an assassin on the dark internet. The 'Emergency Act' being kept by Trudeau is a variation of Putin's 'protection' as the media midwits are beginning to learn.... 'right back atcha, Cda!.' Opposition Parties fear 'snap election' if Emergency Act (which is falsely applied) was rejected by Parliament. Next election... NDP out(reduced to student support); PPC in? C) Meanwhile, China wonders whether it can borrow this game plan for Taiwan (heaping more oil on the WWIII fire)... down the rabbit hole, Alice.... D) Freedom Convoy is against 'mandates' (as imposed by Trudeau) not vaccination per se. Ontario should have been able to deal with strike without Feds but Trudeau, similar to Putin, wants more ...and more.... E) Class Actions against Convoy mired in deep shit where only the lawyers make money.
FEB 21 A) Ode to the Freedom Convoy: For everything that's ever written about the idea of justice, its meaning will never be something that you can fully understand through words alone. Its full definition will always be something you feel. In your head. In your heart. In your gut. In the words of the ancient Greek philosopher Epictetus: It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters. As a group, you have shown yourselves apart from the Canadian Disease. I salute you. B) It appears that the Freedom Convoy is spreading to the U.S. The costs of policing this protest are astronautical. Now if only gov'ts. (all politicians) and media were more responsive to rogue acts of gov't. such as FAA with its attendant Identity Theft. C) Now that the Ottawa Truckers are before the Ottawa Courts which I have shown cannot be trusted as far as they can be thrown. (disclosure: I am on record calling for a trusteeship to be invoked against this court and named judges. Give me the names of those judges handling the arrests and I will tell you the expected 'outcome'. I tell protesters to 'Stay Out of a Cdn. Courtroom Unless You First Buy the Judge' (2004 Placard)) D) If the authorities want to arrest anyone, they should arrest Franco Alulio for (treason/fraud) for doctoring a Driver License form by adding the term 'psychiatric' (the entire suspension was questioned but the Ottawa Courts won't give a docket time for a Hearing to my duly laid case.) creating the 21st century crime of Identity Theft which the Auto Insurance (Allstate) won't challenge even after their own Underwriters questioned it... truck on freedom convoy! (Oh, by the way, I am just one of those 'conspiracy' nut jobs warned against by the Cdn. media and their midwits. What the heck, all those policemen now hanging around Ottawa are bought and paid for; so why not use them as this budget cannot be carried over. H) An end to the Beijing Olympics; the strangest Olympics on record including lousy snow. In the past, the Olympics eventually fell apart with the latest one created in 1896 by a Frenchman trying to revive young Fr. people's enthusiasm after the defeat by Prussia in 1870. Time to suspend them again, along with FIFA? Maybe potential candidates can try out for Freedom Convoy positions? J) Got 'Long Covid'? Join those Dutch employees wishing to sue their employers leaving the legal fraternity with its billable time exercises jumping for joy. FEB 20 The inchoate Freedom Convoy is coming across to the public as a 'tailgate party' loosely organized as a protest against COVID vaccination for a plague of no-one's making but one in which the mass are sick and tired of 'for hanging around'. The importance of it is to show up the medical fraternity in the world for its inability to ask the right questions; a feature not paralleled in my 35 year fight with the Justice Ministry which asked the right questions and then proceeded to bury them...Justice Southin-1986: Mr. Clyne (West Vancouver School Board lawyer); 'I want to know for a certainty; were these the (false) figures in June of 1985 which the School Board over-rode in July of 1985 used to lay-off Mr. Callow ( for economic reasons?) 'Yes, milady'. At that point she should have arrested him and the 3 Board members present in July for fraud. She didn't permitting a fraud which ultimately destroyed Justice Canada (and the entire country). Is this what the Truckers want in singing 'Oh, Canada'? I think not but what else really justifies their protest across Canada? I have suggested the bigger issue is the rich (top 1%) versus the rest of us as the rich have become richer during this pandemic at the expense of the rest of us. What the truckers need, and haven't got is a 'Voltaire' to enunciate where they are going as we don't really know where they are coming from let alone where they are going. As an issue FAA, is the crime of the 21st century with its Identity Theft. As a 'non-citizen', I am not in the same boat as Britney Spears with her court sanctioned Conservatory Orders as she has access to the courts of the land with her psychiatric problems. I have been labeled a psychiatric case by a rogue civil servant, Franco Alulio, as he usurped the Transport Forms to deprive me of my driver's license with the law courts backstopping him without a hearing. Unlike Spears, I cannot have legal representation making me the first non-citizen of the democratic countries. I have taxed all institutions outside of Canada on this level as well and come up with nothing. I am not suggesting that the Freedom Convoy has to pick my issue (as the worst case example of institutional abuse) but the point here is that they have not yet chosen any real substantial issue. They are a revolution vapidly waving the Cdn. flag looking for a place to happen leaving much public confusion. What has been established is that both sides are prepared to use violence to solve issues. So much for Parliament. The protesters remind me of WWI soldiers going 'over the top' with this difference; they have ordered themselves over the top as opposed to 'following orders'... brave, yes, but many would say foolhardy unless they can justify their national resistance beyond just waving a Canadian flag and blockading specific locales. They still have their identities; I don't.
FEB 19 A) A visit to a medical clinic says it all: a) harried doctors under great pressure to see as many patients as possible is exacerbated by immigrants requiring services. b) Their plea for clients to keep sane while undergoing unconscionably long wait times and to be polite, echoes the frustration of the Truckers. Being in retirement, I have the time but few working people can afford such backlogs of service. c) small OHIP services are subject to additional costs rather than being free as formerly. In brief, my Xmas 2019 lockdown as Ottawa's Hospital first political prisoner is largely the result of this weak management model in which rogue civil servants such as Franco Alulio can act with impunity and not fear repercussions (that charge lies particularly against the media). B) We have heard the economic plight of the Truckers Strike as it affects City and merchant costs; but what about the Independent Truckers economic plight? a) In the 1970's 'piggyback' rail cars eliminated cross country truck driving. b) One independent Truck Driver said 'it is our own fault' for undercutting each other. c) 20 years ago, my older son and I got AZ licenses although we never drove big rigs. One day a fellow graduate showed up with a brand new White Star truck ($250,000) to which my son retorted; 'Are you crazy?' How much per hour do you get for that truck? $45. Then he pointed to his own used Ford A350 dump truck in good condition; I get $35 per hour and I own it outright ($3500 price tag) As he told me later... that poor guy owes the bank close to $40 in interest charges with another $5 per hour for gas leaving him in a negative position for livability. Perhaps that fellow was down on the Hill today protesting. d) Turning to immigrants has its drawbacks as evidenced by the SK AZ driver who blew a stop sign killing an entire bus team. Generally, immigrants are finding other ways to make a living. d) Companies employing AZ drivers have problems getting ones with clean abstracts in order to cross the border (many truck drivers have 'form'). e) Seized trucks are probably a bigger problem for the bank repossessions to market them than the loss to highly indebted drivers. C) One thing is a certainty...the Freedom Convoy captured world attention; my 16 year private protest in downtown Ottawa leading to the demise of Justice Canada, was ignored = 'Canadian Disease'. We now have to rely on POTUS Biden to bail Canada out of FAA. C) Sign of the times? When shooting broke out in a Maryland High School in Jan., students hit the media. Nobody phoned the police. In narco-country Mexico, that's not such a bad idea.... In Ottawa, the police finally removed the Truckers Strike without a major incident. Just plain lucky? The BBC from England has the most complete account of all aspects of the removal. D) Putin's 'cat and mouse' phase of invading Ukraine now coming out of its 'mouse' phase? His tactic or ringing Kiev may have been borrowed from the Ottawa Police. E) Much fussing about the Confederate Flag. A few young Cdn. WOKE reviewers thought of the Dukes of Hazzard TV show; they had no idea of its historical importance as Cdns. don't study U.S. history.
FEB 18 A) Some suggestion that new Police chief Steve Bell is a stooge for J.T. I will find out by what reaction I get from the letter I sent to him. SEE MEDIAfeb 16 B) Resistance building, and deservedly so, from provinces and media regarding the seizing of personal bank accounts under the Emergency Act. Banks have always had the right to freeze accounts for myriad reasons but the level here is equivalent (sliding scale) to FAA with its attendant Identity Theft. C) The 'Freedom Convoy' is coming to a natural end. To avoid post protest recriminations, a new slant is required sans the Trucks; a good gimmick but don't repeat it. My suggestion is to find a way to sponsor specific complaints other than Covid. FAA is at the top of that list. D) CAA want feedback to my recent battery problem. I wrote a Reply and sent it... rejected by internet as they only accept a 3 page response to their questions = institutional autism. Needless to say they didn't get it. E) I have a problem getting my noodle around the new police measures to 'ring' downtown Ottawa which have to be 'time-dated' to be effective. It may limit 'weekend warriors' attendance but they may pop up elsewhere like the anti-protesters did. As to the Convoy, do they expect to starve the protesters out? This police action could easily produce a bigger re-action = food thefts? As to vast arrests, then the City would have to house and feed the Protesters (better than mickey mouse trucking salaries). Woe is my future tax Bill no matter what happens. Ottawa Real Estate values could plummet which is not such a bad outcome. Comes the revolution? It is already here in Ottawa. J.T. should lift the Covid ban on truckers in this 'game of chicken'. There are far greater issues such as FAA. F) Everyman and his dog (lobbyists/lawyers) are after the $3.6 billion which POTUS Biden seized from Afghan. Is this the future? Losing one's money can be equivalent to losing one's Identity but that is what the Old Boys Club is all about.... as to the U.S., they are so far in debt, that emergency financing is the order of the day... until it isn't.... G) How the top 1% wealthy stay rich...Apple's Tim Cook given $99m salary last year. Of course the Board support this action as they get a scaled down, but excessive, paycheck. That's where the real revolution lies... very rich vs the rest of us....
FEB 17 A) The original joke is the man slipping on a banana peel; not very funny for the target but very funny to onlookers. In brief, humour slices away at the pretentiousness of life. Where cartoon strips reflect different values such as boss/employee or husband/wife; they are contentious as a source of humour. Children are a source of different cultural orientations to adult standards such as Family Circle where we find the children with cute misunderstandings. So why have I declared a LUAN Valentine Strip to be iconic (SEE below Feb. 14)? Because it introduces the concept of empathy which is normally the antithesis of humour. I hope to find more such empathetic comic strips in future as reading the comics has always been a high point with me. B) From another perspective, Ottawa Police Chief Sloly is a part of the WOKE generation - long on theories which cannot bear out in fact. It's a dilemma in all fields. I recently discussed the theory of inclusion for school students with a Woke person. In terms of student discipline, a teacher may no longer remove an obstreperous student from the classroom. Look at the problem I was told...the teacher's style of teaching which indeed could be a factor but I argued there must be an outlet for a teacher cannot permit one student 'to turn a classroom upside down'. (She was not a teacher but was in a business advisory position to schools... in my terms, she would create conditions which would make teachers sick with her unrealistic (my term) expectations. Of course administrators like this type of person as they no longer have to exert leadership... and many aren't. SEE 'G' below. C) Ottawa Truckers are doing what I did in downtown Ottawa for 16 years on my own protesting far bigger issues than a Covid mandate('Here I stand; I can no other' M. Luther). I was ignored by the politicians and media; also with FAA in 2019, a threat to all N. American drivers with its attendant Identity Theft (I no longer exist as a native born Canadian with access to the laws). J.T. has a variation of that persecution with his 'State of Emergency Laws' which also override the courts. So read on, dear reader, and weep for our nation under the heading of the 'Canadian Disease'. D) Russia playing footsie with Ukraine withdrawal? = Russia deliberately creating chaos... should ask Trump on that one.... E) Remark attributed to Pierre Poilievre: Give Trucker's their mandate in order to remove trucks. Then arrest and imprison them. F) Up for superglue!! Vietnamese protesters have door locks superglued... will wonders never cease.... G) Heads continue to roll in Ottawa... now it's Police Commissioner Diane Deanes cutting short her mayoral bid (I was never a supporter of hers). H) In 1978, the bully West Vancouver principal (for one year) - which reminded me of Sloly (Toronto police background) - blamed me for organizing teachers (not true) against him as he certainly could not say that all staff, fellow administrators, students, and parents were calling him out. While it didn't work as he was dismissed in his first year, I was stuck with the troublemaker label which was instrumental in my illicit 1985 lay-off for whistle blowing on a principal I caught in an act of fraud in changing my professional report. The fake arbitration revealed that fraud but was covered up by a 'political' arbitrator later ruled patently unreasonable by the court when the arbitration was quashed leaving me hanging out on the line to dry ...and that is as far as I got with no compensation (including pension rights) to date. I have seen a number of Ottawa protests where outsiders ride on the coat-tails of other demonstrations which I did not do for 16 years and counting. FEB 15 A) I think I see where the gov't. is coming from by seizing personal bank accounts of 'selective individuals' (anyone) associated with the Truckers Strike. Why should the gov't. permit, for example, gov't. pension cheques to be used for financing this revolt? Here, however, the funds are from abroad, a whole different kettle of fish involving our basic banking procedures. No doubt, protesters are seeking ways around a financial squeeze play. But do these gov't. whizz kids know where they are going? World Democracies are wondering. The closest form of acting on the financial systems I know of are the U.S. RICCO Laws which permit a U.S. gov't. source to seize the benefits of crime (and even here there are abuses as midwit Conrad Black can tell you). But the difference lies in that RICCO Laws may be appealed to a court of law and take time to enact. Not so Canada's version which could reduce an individual to starvation overnight and consequent crime at a cost of money and resources never before anticipated if it becomes widespread among protesters; the new crime of the century as it were. The War Measures Act of 1970 by former J.T. father, P.M. Pierre Trudeau was limited to one province in which logistics of putting the military in the QC streets forced a limited time solution. If Celine Dionne were singing the current tune, the State of Emergency could go 'on and on forever'; until, as I point out, the SS Canada hits the proverbial iceberg. Further, the populace would start banking abroad with foreign investors being most wary of investing in Canada. Carrying a big stick and walking noisily has its price. Did other Liberal M.P.'s support this approach? I think not as the system of M.P.'s comes into basic questioning by permitting access to personal banking accounts. ...and we don't even know if this State of Emergency is going to work in the first place.... If the truckers did not have a valid protest issue before; they have one now in what only can be termed as the cure being worse than the disease.

One salesman in the 50's told me as a matter of pride that his farm owner mother in AB never let a hobo go without food in exchange for 'so-called' labour such as chopping wood. 2022: I am the P.M. and I am exerting a 'State of Emergency' (as written by the Old Boys Club) against a Covid ravaged Society which is being held ransom by a handful of Truckers. I have canvassed the world's institutions revealing that the Canadian Disease is now universal as reflected by no challenge to FAA. No amount of inflationary money printing (the budget will resolve itself - J.T.) can cover up this basic deficiency of the soul but a minority in the public believe the truckers have hit on a sore spot but don't know what it is. PPC leader, Maxime Bernier would seek to put a shape to this amorphous topic. So would PC politician Pierre Poilievre whom claims his Cda. includes Trucker's Rights (much Commentary support). Now if both would speak out on FAA. J.T.'s threat to freeze trucker's personal bank accounts shows a gov't. out of control. B) Applying the 'State of Emergency' Rules where applicable' by J.T. smacks like the same kind of logic as FAA where a rogue civil servant has only applied FAA with its Identity Theft to one person (with a potential of all N. American drivers) ..and not a peep out of the media.... C) SK suspension of driver's licenses for non-payment of family support and prostitution smacks of an extension of FAA and gov't abuse. It is another way of saying that Cda's court system is ineffective leaving it to rogue(?) civil servants to make unilateral decisions. D) Alaska Republican Sarah Palin has libel case thrown out of court by jury against Democratic NY Times. E) I wasn't the only one disgusted with Super Bowl half time entertainment according to a multitude of Commentary observations. A first for me!...conducting a discussion of the Super Bowl with a fellow male shopper in his 50's. Do I expect to keep up with this type of male bonding? Nope, so there is no hope for me with my fellow macho male. F) Ottawa Trucker's Strike fundamentally different from border strike, in my opinion, as it does not block commerce in a major way.
In Grade 2, along with a few others, I got it all wrong by sending valentines cards to everyone in the class. Today, I am glad that I got it 'all wrong'. As a teacher, my older sister (d.) also got it 'all wrong' by quietly inserting valentines to less noticed students. Of course I was confused over why some students would accuse other students of sending valentines to themselves. That was just plain dumb to me. In secondary school, a student committee went from room to room delivering a 'few' valentines to avoid embarrassment. As usual, some teachers got all the valentines (not me as I was known to be 'a bit sticky with the rules')...an early internet 'evaluation' type thing. The real problem? Exclusion rather than inclusion (even on a national basis such as racial discrimination.) Answers are few and far and in between.... getting 'voted off the Island' institutionalizes discrimination.
FEB 14 A) My neophyte armchair comments: I am not one for spectator sports but I thought I would give the Super Bowl an opportunity which I 'abbreviated' by dodging myriad ads clogging up the game. Half time 'Rap show' popular with audience including 'taking a knee'. Me? not so much so. Yellow flags at end hamstrung Bengals. The size of the Ram players seem to dominate the game but weak quarterbacking kept their score down. ...one down with one (Ukraine war) to go.... B) Got stung again with another bad novel probably because it started out well with post WWI research but then continued round and round and round the mulberry bush with an unsatisfying 'ringer' for a conclusion... no wonder it hit the book bins early even with publisher support comments which I have grown to mistrust. Pugnacious Pierre (Poilievre) puts his neck on the line by meeting with the Truckers in public which could have blowback. B) O.S. p.11 Core or Fr. Immersion choice after #6 at Ottawa Catholic Board is so much soft soap in this faux article. As a Supply Teacher in the 90's, the Division was created to provide the better students with a superior program leaving the Core students with teachers who dreaded the assignment; usually the last ones on staff. I witnessed the problem first hand when one Fr. core teacher told me after a class in which 4 students were placed with me as a Supply Teacher...'Thank God, we actually got something done.' Now it is all about 'inclusion of students' at the expense of teacher health... a good profession to stay away from along with law & medicine...what's left? pyramid building hedge funds? In my day, students not suited to school left (disclosure: One of our sons did just that and is doing fine as a successful entrepreneur but few have this 'Bill Gates' quality.) Construction codes based on a concrete superstructure are such as to limit fires to a single apartment. Not so 3 story wood condominiums where the fire can race across a roof. Many do not even get out of a second story. Linking one such apartment fire quickly extinguished to the Truckers Strike therefore has explosive connotations. In the past (20 years ago), one low class apartment building was noted for fires over 'lover's disputes' although 'shitting in the closet' is standard for rejected females or homosexuals.
FEB 07 A) As one familiar with the Ottawa Protest scene (since 2004 at a time Justice Canada collapsed over the unresolved employeescasecanada.ca, ('You have exhausted all remedy under the law' according to my Ottawa lawyer, leaving me as Canada's longest protester ignored by the authorities), I have seen protests come and go but none hanging around like the Truckers Strike. Usually there is the usual parade plus speeches and then the walk into oblivion. I don't upstage such protests by joining them with my Placards; rather saluting their right to protest at a distance with returned acknowledgments. Politicians and media merely regurgitate what everyone sees on TV without any solutions other than 'it is some-one else's task'. B) The Truckers are not typical, in being more like the French at the time of the Fr. Revolution; taking the Tennis Court oath never to disband until Fr. had a constitution. In this case, the truckers want Covid mandates lifted at a time this plague is expanding = contradiction. The public see the police presence on TV where both the Truckers and Opponents are kept apart by the police. What they don't see, which is the case at all sizable demonstrations, are the undercover police mixing among all sides looking for what? That criminal personality who will start WWI all over again by shooting at the Police provoking mayhem. That's why the authorities should put a problem solver on this case such as the judge who has postponed a class action, an inflammatory provocation by some smart ass lawyer out to make a fast buck. Seizing the 'Go fund me' aspect has backfired in that regard with the creation of a new fund. Should the Truckers pick up on associated issues such as FAA which negatively impacts all those drivers with an illicit driver license suspension with its attendant Identity Theft, WWIII could very easily break out starting in Canada... 'rogue civil servants of the world unite; all you have to lose are the chains of your incompetent bosses': Dilbert cartoon strip notwithstanding. POTUS Biden, are you listening? (not so far) Society is an amalgam of individuals whose recognition as citizens is all-important. Currently, the Cdn. Truckers are the only ones with a mandate to speak out on the 'Canadian Disease'. C) We are currently at the Schrodinger's Cat analogy with the Truckers Strike, a 1935 physics experiment in which a cat has been locked in a box with a timed release poison. Until we open the box, the cat is both dead and alive; an apt analogy to the Truckers Strike. D) Ottawa taxpayers should expect to see a surcharge to their tax bills for this demonstration. E) Mainline media giving the National Enquirer a race to the trashy bottom of reporting. F) When our boys were in elementary school, our family responded for assistance at the Good Shepherds Hostel in downtown Ottawa. They really did not want to see children in this dangerous locale. Indeed, they only wanted to see experienced adult assistance. I was familiar with the scene from my Paratranspo Days where I met one of the founders. It is a high risk environment as even police are rarely seen explaining why I am a Nimby. I do not know of any effective answer for the street people as police efforts merely push one tent village from one spot to another. A) As readers of this column know, I am of the opinion that no economic system extant is sustainable although this fact is muddied by one economic area of the world depriving another of its sustenance for its own gain. When the battle is reduced to control over food e.g. Cuba revolt, it is the beginning of the end. B) The media midwits (nitwits plus one) are great at dropping their countervailing opinions into one newspaper edition e.g today's O.S. and stirring well, with the bottom line being 'soup' but a soup controlled by themselves... and they are desperate to get control over the Trucker's Strike (trucks carry food) as seen by today's copy as part of that soup. C) I will refer to one midwit, Joe Warmington whose article re authority control over Truckers is 'Toronto good, Ottawa bad' which is not an untruth; rather it is an evasion with the usual comparison of 'apples and oranges' (space limits a detailed analysis here). D) Unlike the bellicose U.S., Canadians are a mediocre bunch argues midwit columnist Warren Kinsella as voters steer a middle path. No doubt a truism. No doubt an explanation for the Canadian Disease regarding the sweeping of FAA under the carpet by all Canadian interests; something I do not believe the U.S. which is vulnerable to this rogue civil servant algorithm (crime of the 21st century) would tolerate. That is why my current appeal on FAA is left in the lap of POTUS Biden who personally suffers from the Canadian Disease defined elsewhere on this topic. E) Quid pro Quo: U.S. to Russia: You can have Ukraine, Putin, leaving you in the position of managing the peace like the Taliban in Afghan. Meanwhile all other satellite countries to you will flock to NATO.
FEB 05 A) So JT is wary about sending in the troops into the Truckers Strike unlike father Pierre, a former PM who sent the troops into QC in 1970 during the FLQ Crisis creating the debacle which led to the creation of the Separatist Parties in QC. To be sure public parallels would be drawn should JT use this option. Sending in the thinly stretched RCMP paid less than other police forces (no union) leaves under policed RCMP rural areas even more vulnerable. So what's left? Harassment? That can easily backfire. A negotiated settlement makes the most sense... but when has the Old Boys Club ever been accused of having common sense? Class Action against Truckers 'Go Fund Me' money? Of course, you do not expect the lawyers to go without their cut of 'loose cash' floating around, do you?

Missing? N. Korea. Also, where was the Republic of Guantanamo Bay with its Olympic Sport of 'Waterboarding' common to many of those participating. To be sure, Russia will not invade the Ukraine during this event so why not extend these Olympics in perpetuity... Just asking.... Russia-China alliance similar to WWII Germany-Japan alliance? The devil is in the unpublished details. Is the choice of a Uighur to carry Olympic flag to be paralleled to Nazi Germany SS individual handing out candy to children for photo shoot after which the candy was returned and the children were all sent to the gas chambers? D) Unruly plane passenger ejections reflective of 'me too' generation claiming to be 'me all'. Random pre-boarding breathalyzer tests would all but eliminate the problem but watch the squealing on that one.
FEB 04 A) So now the tractors are on the road from Alexandria, ON to join the Truckers Strike... more the merrier? In time, all Covid mandates will expire and starting to do so in such as Scandinavia hence if the Truckers can hang in there, they have a winning hand. Politically, the Strike is evolving into the powerful eastern interests vs weak western influences as represented by numbers of M.P. votes. One reason why I suggest doing away with M.P.'s (become civil servants at far less cost) and run Cda. with an elected Senate and a separate P.M. elected directly by the public (closer to U.S. system. California, with a pop. close to Cda. gets by with a Gov. & Council at much cheaper cost.)
FEB 03 A) POSTMEDIA is using the same level of vituperation against the Truck Protest in Ottawa as they once used against JT in the last election. JT won which says everything about the media. Now they have marshaled their forces once again against the Truckers quoting the high vaccinated rates as proof of their support. Nothing could be further from the truth as many got the jab mainly to keep their jobs (N.B. some jobs do require vaccination ...it's a sliding scale) The Ottawa Police had their time limit extended to January which has come and gone without information as to how many police complied (Update: fewer than 10 on unpaid leave) Trooping out disgraced previous Police Chief Bordeleau is just one more good reason for police to fight the mandate. The problem is that no-one has an answer but the answers produced by the rich and powerful have a bottom line of enriching themselves at the expense of such as the Truckers who currently are limiting their protest to the jab ...but will that attack last? The U.S. Right is viewing this protest with interest as their legitimate protests of voting irregularities are pilloried by the same forces plus U.S. courts. My focus on a cure would be distancing with a mask (for mouth) and a medical insertion or spray to nostrils... but the money for Big Pharma lies in jabs with its consequent Long Covid effects. (N.B. There is no guarantee that my approach would work either with this highly adaptable virus but it may be worth a try.) The major point is that the virus can be spread by the vaccinated as well. I saw a group of 4 men in their 40's sitting tightly at a restaurant table with no masks of course believing that because they can, they may do so without consequences to their health. B) Scandinavia to become almost free of Covid rules contrary to 'authority Canada'. Who is right? Who knows but we will find out with Covid increasing in leaps and bounds. C) Facebook in decline & former users are cheering. I never joined this preposterous entity. D) Will O'Toole removal lead to future splitting with Maxine Bernier's PPC (no seats but running candidates in every Cdn. riding) permitting the Lieberals to once again, form the next gov't? Candice Bergen is the new interim leader... ouch, but she is just a paving stone for P. Poilievre. E) Opioid deaths skyrocketing world wide probably largely due to fentanyl lacing ..and soon there were none.... Reagan's 'Don't do drugs' from 1980's beginning to look good again. F) The Cdn. authorities could lift my Identity Theft related to FAA at any time but without outside pressure - such as POTUS Biden - they feel that they do not have to. Besides Nazi Germany made it work for them. The idea that Premier Ford, the instigator of FAA, would be considered as a Federal Tory leader candidate is reflective as to how much power the Cdn. authorities have in the media. What's next? A 'go fund me' movement? Nope. As a non-citizen, I have no access to Cdn. law courts and those courts which I did, are hopelessly corrupt. Hence FAA is the future for Canada. But darn, I would like internet exposure from Commentary. G) Groundhog Day 'JT emerged briefly and saw the shadow of a truck and went back underground in his cabin in B.C.'
FEB 02 A) The
authorities are getting antsy about the continuing Truck Protest now that Parliament has reconvened. A simple question
such as 'Where's Sophie Trudeau' could expose the hierarchy silence or a
PLACARD re FAA 'FREE ROGER CALLOW' could spark a blaze. The number of issues the
Media would suppress is endless hence these Truckers could end up speaking for
public Canada. B) If FAA was publicized, there is no way its
instigator, Premier Doug Ford whom
should be expelled from all politics, would be considered to replace O'Toole. C) Good for one media midwit, Randall Denley, whom, while noting the disruptive nature of the
Truckers Strike, claims that the issue of Covid
restrictions need a good airing with all their contradictory findings. The
other 95% outright condemn the strike (because they cannot control it.)
Hypocritical midwit Lorne Gunter also seeks to hop on this bandwagon. (His hypocrisy is
to turn a blind eye to the civil as opposed to criminal trial in
a class action which I refused to join regarding judges kiting Decisions held
in his hometown of Edmonton. Why should taxpayers bail out judges who should go
to jail?) D) U.S. Right Wing is
viewing Cdn. Truck Protest noting that heavy police
presence forestalled a 'Jan. 6'
repeat where the National Guard was held back for 3 hours, in effect permitting
the abuse much to the detriment of the Right Wing (Republican) cause. E) Paper Tiger? Is Putin going to war or not? (I hope not as he runs his version of

me do it myself'. Now we have the post teen moving back in with mother mainly
for economic reasons and hence 'maturity' is stalled until age 25. Then, for
women, it is a race to marriage and child-bearing (which is also going by the
board as nations show declining birth rates for a first time). In brief,
elongated life spans has meant that seniors are gobbling up limited resources

The idea of holding a faux Parliament last fall was to get another session fee on top of their 10% salary increase.
C) JT & 3 children test positive for Covid; no mention of wife, Sophie who earlier had Covid... where is she living? Fast tests for Negatives being criticized with Positives showing up a day later. This plague is a long way from over. The only time that I took sick leave was when the children were small as they are carriers of colds... and now Covid. Parents would be well advised to home school a little longer; particularly as teen-agers are in the 'defiant stage'. D) It's the trucks, stupid... If the protesters had flown into Ottawa to protest on Parliament Hill, it would be a blip in the media. What they have done is adopted pressure tactics from Union strikes or Indigenous protests and the authorities are at a loss to deal with it. Now if they grounded their protest into issues such as against FAA, they could get credibility ...but darn, what to do with the trucks blocking downtown Ottawa traffic? Leave a few as a token? Man, but some of those air horns are loud; just what I needed in my 16 year personal protest in downtown Ottawa at noon. Also, I am moving on in 2022 (see rogercallow.com) in my fight against Identity Theft (see website), the crime of the 21st century, but ill-equipped Cda. is unable due to the 'Canadian Disease' to stand up and be counted hence POTUS is now the point man in that battle where we could do with a few air horns. D) Elon Musk understandably upset about having his private jet tracked by a teen-ager blackmailing him for 10x more than he is offering... the crime of the future? A drone could bring down those jets until they get technology protection... a bit like internet protection in general....
